This course introduces advanced learners to New Mexico’s rich cultural and natural history through prose, writing exercises, and additional references for study and exploration. Students will learn how people, land, and resources have shaped the State along with a new look at New Mexico’s geography, biodiversity, and diverse communities. This is an ethnobotanically focused effort, one quite unlike traditional learning. These courses explore Holocaust and ethnic studies in a factual way and may be suitable only for the higher grades (and/or older students of any age). Extinction challenges are a focus.
